Prime Video India has officially unveiled the first look of its upcoming original series Raakh at the grand “It Starts Here” slate event held in Mumbai on March 19, 2026. Positioned as an intense investigative crime thriller, the series promises a haunting narrative that delves into loss, justice, and the darker corners of human nature.
At the heart of Raakh lies a chilling premise—when two teenagers mysteriously vanish, it sends shockwaves through a close-knit family and leaves an entire city gripped with fear. As tensions rise and hope begins to fade, a determined police officer takes charge of a nationwide manhunt, uncovering disturbing truths that lead him into a world marked by violence and moral decay.
Marking a significant shift in his career, Ali Fazal steps into the role of a police officer for the first time. The actor has described the character as “fresh and relatively new,” hinting at a layered performance. Joining him is Sonali Bendre, who returns to the thriller genre with a role she found “completely intriguing,” adding further weight to the show’s emotional and dramatic core.
